About IAHRIAHR, founded in 1935, is a worldwide independent member-based organisation of engineers and water specialists working in fields related tothe hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application. The CongressThe Congress will cover latest developments in science and best practice in all areas of our discipline. Examples range from river and coastal engineering to water resources development and ecohydraulics, through to hydroinformatics, and hydraulic machinery, and from port design to renewable energy, and flood risk management. Contributions in emerging technologies and their application (eg drones, or SPH) will be especially encouraged.The Congress will provide a stimulating platform for science and practice to meet, an exhibition alongside the congresswill present latest developments in equipment, software and instrumentation.Workshops and training events will be offered alongside the main congress.
